The Anglican Parish of Manuka, South Canberra Attracting people from Canberra and across the NSW border, our parish comprises two worshipping communities: and.
We gather together to worship God who we know as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to celebrate the love of God for all people, revealed to us in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Some of us have been worshipping our whole lives and have a deep sense of God’s presence and love in our lives. Others among us are very new to the faith or even just exploring. Together we are all making a journey as pilgrims on earth, gathering together to share the journey, to ask questions, to pray, to worship God, to receive the sacrament of the Eucharist, to serve and to grow in our knowledge and love of God. Wherever you are along the journey of life and faith, you are welcome among us.
We are an active parish. From our regular activities such as theological study and prayer groups, to pastoral care and visiting the sick, nursing home residents and house-bound, bell-ringing, music-making, walking, seminars, refugee support, mission support, floral arranging, gardening, social groups and altar guild, there are many ways to become involved in the life of the Parish.
We look forward to welcoming you among us and pray that you will find that the worship and ministry of our Parish supports you in your spiritual life.
