Demonstrated ability to foster independence amongst tertiary students with disabilities, long-term illnesses and/or mental health conditions.

Knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice approaches in teaching and assessment.
Knowledge of disability-related legislation particularly in relation to education (or demonstrated ability to acquire such knowledge).
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to exert influence, negotiate, and effectively mediate to resolve stakeholder conflicts.
Strong organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
Proven ability to work independently, and to contribute positively and proactively to the team’s work.
