The key duties of the position include
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of enterprise projects, through effective management of scope, schedule, risks and issues, to achieve organisational outcomes. The Project Manager works closely with project stakeholders to resolve blockers, escalate issues as required, and ensure resources external to the project are available as required. This is a specialist role that provides project leadership and contributes to the long-term success of the organisation.
These roles also contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise strategies and frameworks, the development of program and project methods, and the implementation of change management.
In this role you will:
- Ensure that projects are clearly defined and are aligned with program vision and benefits through the development and communication of realistic project plans, including estimates for resourcing, funding and delivery timeframes
- Work with the delivery team(s) to manage the delivery of work, including coordinating effort, monitoring project schedule, budget and resourcing, managing risks, issues and dependencies (and escalating to the Program Manager as appropriate)
- Contribute to integrated program planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation, including measuring and monitoring delivery of program benefits
- Manage the engagement of stakeholders, ensuring support for the project and supporting change management activities
- Close projects effectively and support a smooth transition to Business As Usual (BAU)
- Contribute to continuous improvement in program and project management and delivery practices
- Contribute to change and communications activities as part of the program
- Contribute to the development of program strategies as required (for example risk, communications and change management, quality, benefits and issues)

- Demonstrate excellent judgement, initiative and interpersonal skills including the ability to build productive professional networks, make sound decisions, escalate appropriately, work collaboratively to deliver outcomes, and to influence for success.
Required skills, knowledge, experience and/or qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in managing projects using best-practice methodologies.
- Project management or agile methodology qualifications highly desirable.
